Cardiff and The Vale

Situated on the western edge of Cardiff at the top of the Tumble above Culverhouse Cross, the Cardiff and The Vale natural burial ground has superb views across Cardiff (with glimpses of the Millenium Stadium between the trees), around towards St Fagans, Castell Coch, Caerphilly, the Garth Mountain and beyond.

The land is permanent pasture and meadowland and it will continue to be farmed and grazed in tandem with the use of the land for burials. In this way, the land has a completely sustainable future.
Rather than rows of memorial headstones and vases for flowers, each plot is precisely mapped leaving nothing artificial, just fine open views, a beautiful setting, nature and tranquility.

This really is a special place to visit, spend time and contemplate close to the city, but away from it all.
